How fees are set
Valorlux — Approved packaging take-back organisation under the Luxembourg packaging law of 21 March 2017; the single collective system for household packaging.
Valorlux is the collective system for household packaging in Luxembourg and publishes the Point Vert tariff once a year, approved at its October general meeting. Producers choose between two declaration routes. The detailed declaration prices each Point Vert category per kilogram and is the schedule shown on this page: reusable packaging is charged at zero, PET bottles are split by colour and opacity, and packaging that cannot be recovered carries the top rate. The simplified declaration instead charges a rate per unit sold by product sector, which suits companies that cannot weigh their packaging by material. One published sheet carries the 2024, 2025 and 2026 columns together, so the three-year series on this site comes from a single official document. Categories PV16 to PV19 cover non-household and industrial packaging and are outside the scope of this page.

Non-household and industrial categories (PV16 to PV19) are outside the scope of this page.
Commercial and industrial packaging
The rates below are a different stream from the household packaging rates above. They apply to commercial, industrial and transport packaging — packaging that does not reach a private household and is not collected by the municipal system — and a producer placing both kinds of packaging on this market is liable under both schedules, not one. Where the scheme publishes both in the same document the material names are the scheme's own, so the same material code can appear in both tables with very different figures.

Valorlux prices non-household and industrial packaging under four codes, PV16 to PV19, on the same detailed-declaration sheet that carries the twenty household codes. The four non-household rates have been unchanged across 2024, 2025 and 2026 while the household rates moved every year.
