Refund Policy

Our policy

Subscriptions to EPR Rates are annual and are not refundable once the subscription term has started. There is no pro-rata refund for the unused part of a term.

You can cancel the renewal at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period of your subscription and prevents any further payments from being taken; your access continues until the end of the term you have already paid for. To cancel, email hello@eprrates.com or use the cancellation link in your Paddle invoice.

Before a subscription starts we tell you in writing what it covers, what it costs and that it renews annually. What you are buying is visible for free on this site first: the current rate tables and sample.csv are open to everyone under CC BY 4.0, so you can judge the data before you pay for the full fields, the history and the change alerts.

Statutory rights come first

Where mandatory law gives a buyer a refund or withdrawal right that cannot be waived, that right applies and overrides this policy. In the EU and EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract; that right does not apply once the buyer has expressly agreed to immediate performance and has started downloading, streaming, using or benefiting from the product. EU distance-selling rules protect consumers, and we sell to business customers (see our Terms of Service) — but where a buyer does hold such a right, we honour it.

How to request a refund

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Refund requests are therefore assessed under the Paddle Refund Policy, which applies to transactions completed by both consumers and businesses, and which provides that if local consumer protection laws or a supplier give you additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of rights always applies.

Write to hello@eprrates.com or to Paddle at help@paddle.com, quoting the invoice reference.

Billing errors

A duplicate charge, a charge after a cancellation, or a charge for something you did not order is a billing error, not a refund request. Tell us or Paddle and it is corrected and refunded.
