How fees are set
EKO-KOM — Authorised packaging recovery company (autorizovaná obalová společnost) under Act No. 477/2001 Coll. on packaging; the only authorised packaging scheme in Czechia.
EKO-KOM is the only authorised packaging recovery company in Czechia, so its price list is effectively the national tariff. The list is a matrix rather than a flat table: within each material, the fee depends on whether the packaging is flexible or rigid, whether it holds over three litres and whether it contains beverages. Beverage PET is priced twice over — once for primary resin and once for recyclate — and clear, transparent-coloured and opaque PET each carry their own beverage rate, so opaque coloured PET costs about half again as much as clear. A separate recyclate discount is deducted per tonne of rPET in beverage PET packaging, capped at 35% of that packaging's weight. Fees are published in koruna per tonne and this site does not convert them. Group, transport and industrial packaging are priced on separate schedules at a small fraction of the household rates.

The rows here carry the distinct values of that matrix and state the matrix position in the conditions. Group, transport and industrial packaging are separate schedules.
Commercial and industrial packaging
The rates below are a different stream from the household packaging rates above. They apply to commercial, industrial and transport packaging — packaging that does not reach a private household and is not collected by the municipal system — and a producer placing both kinds of packaging on this market is liable under both schedules, not one. Where the scheme publishes both in the same document the material names are the scheme's own, so the same material code can appear in both tables with very different figures.
EKO-KOM — Authorised packaging company under Zakon c. 477/2001 Sb., o obalech (collective compliance).
The EKO-KOM Cenik carries three separate single-use schedules: sales packaging, grouped and transport packaging, and industrial packaging. The last two are numerically identical except that only the industrial table has a glass line, and both sit an order of magnitude below the sales schedule. Within the industrial table the plastic rate varies only by primary material against recyclate, not by polymer, form or beverage content.
