How fees are set
El-Kretsen — Main Swedish producer responsibility organisation for electrical equipment, batteries and packaging, operating under SFS 2022:1276.
El-Kretsen runs the main Swedish collective scheme for electrical equipment, batteries and packaging. Its product list is published in English and is split along the six categories of Directive 2012/19/EU, and inside each category again into consumer products and what the scheme calls other electronic equipment, its heading for professional lines, whose codes carry a P prefix. Every one of the 57 electrical product codes is published twice: once at the ordinary fee and once at a green fee, a reduced rate carrying its own official code with a G prefix, which a producer may use only with documents showing the product meets the requirements. Some codes are priced per item and others per kilogram. Two codes - stationary computers and mobile phones - carry a published fee of zero. Fixed annual charges sit outside the per-unit rates.
Declaration basis: SEK per item (pc) or SEK per kg depending on the product code, excl. VAT; plus SEK 500 a year and a one-off SEK 1,000 entry fee. Official rates page: el-kretsen.se ↗
