How fees are set
WEEE Cyprus — The only licensed collective compliance scheme for WEEE in Cyprus, licensed by the Department of Environment under the Waste (WEEE) Regulations 2015-2021; administered together with Green Dot Cyprus.
WEEE Cyprus is the single licensed Cypriot scheme for electrical and electronic equipment, set up by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and run alongside the Cypriot packaging scheme and the AFIS battery scheme by Green Dot Cyprus. Its tariff is public but awkwardly published: the scheme's FAQ carries it only as scanned images, and the machine-readable copy sits in the text layer of the official declaration guide and in the current Excel declaration form. Cyprus has not migrated to the six Directive categories - producers still declare against the ten categories of the earlier Directive 2002/96/EC, with air conditioners, fluorescent lamps, refrigerators and screens broken out separately - and for categories 1 to 9 the scheme splits each into equipment under and over 50 cm at different prices. Small equipment is the more expensive of the two, 131.32 EUR per tonne against 77.75, because handling cost per tonne rises as items get smaller. Fluorescent lamps at 476.48 EUR per tonne are six times the large-equipment rate. The same rate table serves household and commercial declarations alike. Rates have not changed since 1 January 2013.

The declaration form carries one rate table under a single household/commercial selector, so the same rate applies to both and the use slot is ALL. note 1 — Category 4 large equipment of Directive 2012/19/EU (any external dimension over 50 cm) note 2 — The size split is the scheme's own sub-category column, and its 50 cm boundary is the Directive's own test note 3 — Category 5 small equipment of Directive 2012/19/EU (no external dimension over 50 cm) These sentences are stored on every individual row in the dataset; they are printed once here rather than repeated on each line of the table.
ᴮ bonus / discount · ᴹ malus / surcharge. How hard this table is to find: the Cypriot rates are published neither on the scheme's home page nor on any rates page, but in three images inside a FAQ answer, with a machine-readable copy surviving only in a worked example inside the declaration-form guide. A Cypriot seller would have to know to look in the filing instructions to find them at all. Cyprus still declares under the older ten-category structure rather than the six categories of Directive 2012/19/EU; where the source itself splits a category by size, that criterion is used for the mapping and written into the row's Conditions.
